Garage door installation in Miami

Replacing a tired door or fitting one to a new build? A technician measures the opening, walks you through the wind-rated models that fit, and gives you the full price before anything is built.

Measured on site, priced before we start

Every garage opening is a little different: the width and height, the room above the door for the springs and tracks, the space at each side, and how the framing was built. That is why we measure in person instead of quoting from a photo. On a Planned Visit the technician measures, checks the framing and your opener, and talks you through the doors that fit the opening. You get the full price before anything is built, and the $65 visit comes off the total cost of your install if you go ahead.

Built for Miami wind

Miami-Dade is a High-Velocity Hurricane Zone, so a new garage door here must carry Miami-Dade product approval, called an NOA, for wind. Every new door we install is an approved, wind-rated model, and we show you its approval number before you buy. The NOA is a public document that lists what the model was tested and approved for, so you can see exactly what you are getting instead of taking anyone’s word for it.

Pick the look

Our catalog covers the styles Miami homes actually use: carriage-house and wood-look doors, modern chevron and flush designs, full-view and slim-frame glass, and natural wood. The photos and videos on this site are references to help you decide, not your exact custom design. Colors, windows and finishes are confirmed with you on the visit, before anything is built.

Repair or replace?

A new door is not always the answer. Many doors only need springs, cables, rollers or an opener, and we tell you honestly when a repair is the better deal. Replacing usually makes more sense when panels are rusted through or cracked, when the door has no wind approval, or when the same problems keep coming back.

A new opener with the new door

If your opener is old, the install is a good moment to replace it. We install smart openers with phone and voice control, keypads, and battery backup so the door still works during a power outage, which matters in hurricane season.
